Nelson, Mark Jr. (22 May 1958 - 04 Jan 1969)

Mark J. Nelson, 10, of Medford, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4,at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he was transferred to from Memorial Hospital at Medford. Mark had been injured in a toboggan accident.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 from Immanuel Lutheran Church and burial was made in the Medford Evergreen Cemetery. The Ruesch Funeral Home was in charge.

Pallbearers were students of his Sunday School at Immanue lLutheran, Kevin Doberstein, Matt Tacke, Jeffrey Simek, Tony Simek, Terry Lekies, Jim Borman, Marvin Obscherig and Jeff Werner.

Mark was born May 22, 1958 at Medford and was a 5th grade student at the Medford public school. Also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Sunday School.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Nelson, Medford; 2 brothers, Guy and Jay and a sister, Sandra, all at home; his paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. G. W. Nelson, Loyal; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Cherney, Medford.
