Schilling, Lizzie (Abt. 1885 - 31 Dec. 1968
Services were held at 2 p,m., Friday, December 31 at the Myre Funeral Home for
Mrs. Lizzie Schilling, 83, who died at the Bethel Convalescent Home, Arpin, on
Tuesday, December 31, at 8:45 a.m.
The Rev. Ruhbusch, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer officiated and
burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
The former Lizzie Voss married Julius Lindner in 1905 at Loyal. He died in 1909.
She then married Albert Schilling in 1912. He died in 1955 at Wetewega. She came
to the Loyal area with her parents in 1900. Since the death of Mr. Schilling she
has made her son, Merlyn Lindner at Spencer.
Pallbearers were Karl Loppnow, Julius Ehlert, William Seeman, Edd Dobbe, Kenneth
Voss and Art Olson.
Mrs. John A Olson was the organist and Mrs. Kenneth Voss Sang "The Lord Is My
Shephard" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus."
She is survived by 2 sons, Merlyn Lindner, Spencer and Dellmond Lindner, San
Jose, Calif., 2 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by one daughter in infancy and 4 brothers and 3
sisters.
