Vogel, Mae (13 Apr 1887 - 19 Feb 1969)

Services were held Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. Mae Vogel, age 81. Mrs. Vogel died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at St. Joseph's Hospital of complications.

The Rev. Wm. Humlie officiated at the funeral and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.

The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.

The former Nellie Mae Sischo was born April 13, 1887 in the town of Weston, Clark Co. May 3, 1905 she married Nathaniel Windsor in the town of York. They moved to the state of Washington and lived there Loyal 1913 when she returned to the Loyal area. July 1915 she married Joseph Vogel. In 1943 they moved to Milwaukee where they lived for 15 years returning to Loyal in 1958 where she has resided since.

Pallbearers were Lawrence Welsh, Harry Schlinsog, Wallace Dietsche, Herman Brecht, John Fulwiler and Gerhardt Scheel.

Mrs. John A Olsen, organist accompanied Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mrs. Edwin Noeldner as they sang "Pass Me Not, Oh Gentle Savior," and "What a Friend In Jesus."

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ione Sommers, Loyal; a grandson; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Strangfeld, Neillsville; five brothers, Carl Sischo, Loyal; Raymond Tenary, Michigan; Clyde, Rapid River, Michigan; and Harold and Floyd, Michigan City, Indiana.

Besides her husband who died October 1963 she was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
