Wittkopf, Genevieve M. (? - 4 July 2014)

Genevieve M. Wittkopf, 98, of Columbus, OH, died Friday, July 4, 2014. Genevieve was a registered nurse who graduated from the Neillsville High School and St. Anthony’s Hospital, Chicago, where she was employed for a time after her graduation. She worked at the Veteran’s Hospital, Hines, IL, was an emergency room nurse at Doctors Hospital, and worked at White Cross in Columbus, OH. She loved flowers, pets, reading and visiting family.

Genevieve is survived by children, Tom (Maria), Dale (Jill), Janet (Richard Blair) Wittkopf; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Durward.

She was a member of St. Michael Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St. Worthington, OH. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
