Huggins Virginia S. (Engagement – MAY 1966)
An August 20, 1966 wedding at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Evansville, Ind. Is
planned by Miss Virginia Spencer Huggins and Jerome Kin Laurent, Whitewater,
whose engagement is announced by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Victor S. Huggins,
Evansville. Laurent is the son of Capt. And Mrs. Francis W. Laurent, U.S.N.,
Ret., presently of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
Miss Huggins is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., where she
was a member of the Chi Omega Social Sorority. She also studied at Sixen-Provence,
France, in conjunction with the Vanderbilt-In-France program, and at Indiana
University, where she did graduate work in English. She is presently an
instructor of English at North High School, Evansville, Ind.
Her fiancé, a 1961 graduate of Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire, hold a
master of arts degree in economics from Indiana University. He is now a member
of the economics faculty at Wisconsin State University, Whitewater.
