Biddle, Mr./Mrs. Melvin (40th – 16 APR 1966)

On Saturday, April 16, 1966 a reception was held at the Thorp Legion Hall in honor of the fortieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Biddle, formerly of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). The reception began at 8:00 p.m., with a dance, and the music was furnished by Kodl's Band. At 11:00 p.m. a large lunch was served, followed by more dancing.

Mr. and Mrs. Biddle are presently residing in South Milwaukee, Wis., where Mr. Biddle is employed at Bucyrus Erie, and Mrs. Biddle at Woolworth's. They have two children, Mrs. Robert (Colleen) Herman of Thorp, and Galen Biddle of South Milwaukee, and seven granddaughters, Sandy, Vicki and Mary Biddle of South Milwaukee, and Twyla, Lynn, Sherry, Robin and Jane Herman of Thorp.

Relatives and friends attending the reception were from Oak Lawn, Ill., Milwaukee, South Milwaukee, Menomonee Falls, Norwalk, Dorchester, La Crosse, Gilman, Stanley, Boyd, Owen and Thorp.
