Sigmund, Gabriel "Iron Man" J. (2 APR 2001 - 4 JUL 2014)

Gabriel "Iron Man" J. Sigmund, 13, town of Medford, died on Friday, July 4 at Lake Holcombe.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Honorary urn bearer is Karl Mahner.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Gabriel Sigmund was born on April 2, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield to Eric and Dawn Sigmund. He attended Medford Area Elementary School and Medford Area Middle School.

Gabriel loved fishing, going to movies and watching his brothers and sisters in sporting events.
Survivors include his parents, Eric and Dawn Sigmund of Medford; nine siblings, Bailee (Jesse) Cheever and Eliana, Tahlia, Isabella, Ezekiel, Lydia, Thaddeus, Leila and Avary Sigmund, all of Medford; a nephew, Gabriel J. Cheever of Medford; maternal grandfather, Dale Feather of Waukesha; maternal grandmother, Carolyn (Darrell) Doyscher of Wautoma; and paternal grandparents, Dick and Janet Sigmund of Medford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gabriel's family to be designated at a later date.
