Moore, Shelley Ann (Marriage - 19 August 1972)
Miss Shelley Ann Moore became the bride of Paul Wesley Nulton, the son of the
Rev. and Mrs. Virgil Nulton, formerly of Neillsville and presently of West Bend,
on Saturday, August 19, in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony at Trinity Methodist Church,
Lapeer, Mich. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oluf Moore of Lapeer.
The groom’s father served as pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church for
seven years beginning in 1949.
The charge to the people was delivered by the Rev. Gilson Miller, a friend of
the groom. The Rev. Arthur B. Howard, pastor of Trinity, presented the charge to
the bridal couple. Personal words on marriage were given by the groom’s father,
Rev. Nulton.
Mrs. Linda Priestap was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Mindy Snyder,
Miss Carol Cosens, Mrs. Sarah Lou Wilson and Miss Kathy Nulton.
Serving as bestman was Stanley Ling. Ted Moon, Randy Nulton, Greg Wilson and
George Manuilow were the groomsmen. Ushering duties were shared by Donald
Priestap and David and Gary Moore.
A reception in the fellowship hall followed the ceremony.
The newlyweds will make their home in Wilmer, KY., where the bride will teach
music. The groom will be a seminarian at nearby Ashbury College in Tennessee. As
a college student, he was a member of “The Singing Pauls,” a duo which performed
in Neillsville two years ago and at an earlier date.
