Seaman, Meta (12 JUN 1883 – 13 MAY 1966)

Mrs. Meta Seaman, 82, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls on Friday, May 13th, 1966.

Mrs. Seaman was born June 12, 1883 at New Holstein, Wis. After coming to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), she resided here most of her life. On March 22, 1905 she was married to Arthur Seaman at Thorp, Wis.

Funeral services were held at The Thorp Methodist Church on Monday, May 16th. Rev. Roy Scott officiated at the two p.m. service, and burial was in the east thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.

She is survived by two sons, Harvey of Thorp, Milton of Greenwood; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Burroughs, Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Elizabeth Moucha, Cadott, Mrs. Laura Anderson, Hoven, S.D.; one sister (Anna) Mrs. John Rossman, Gilman; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 3, 1941, and one son, Bernard.
