July 2, 1948 will be well remembered as the date of the great Francis A.
Maslowski's birth. Frank is one of the well-known Seniors in Thorp High. Nobody
can miss his vociferous outbursts in the hall and often in the classrooms.
Frank gave this writer many humble (??) adjectives to describe himself, but this
column will not be subject to deceitfulness.
Frank contributions to the class include his help as a stage hand for our class
plays, and work on our Prom. During his Junior year he was the attendant for the
Christmas Ball.
Frank seems to be quite a sportsman. He has participated in baseball, football,
and in the intramural basketball program, of which he claims he was a star
player.
When asked if he had any advice to the underclassmen, he gave a few rare
comments, but didn't want any of them to be printed.
College is in Franks future plans. Wis. State University at Eau Claire seems to
be at the top of his list, and we wish him all the luck in the world.
