Beltz, Kason A. (17 NOV 2005 – 7 JUL 2014)

Kason A. Beltz, 8, Athens, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014, while in the company of family members, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. A gathering for family and friends will take place from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, July 19, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal.

Kason Allen Beltz was born on Nov. 17, 2005, in Wichita, Kansas, to Kelly Colby and David Beltz. In October 2007, his family moved to Loyal, where he lived until completing kindergarten. He attended first grade in Spencer and completed second grade in Athens, where he currently resided. He had many interests, but especially loved art, drawing, superheroes, and any and all animals.

Kason will be dearly missed by his parents, Kelly Colby and David Beltz, Athens; his siblings, Austin Colby, Loyal, Karisma Spears, Athens, Phillip Perkins Jr., Athens, Tessa Beltz, Idaho, and Alex Beltz, Nebraska; his grandparents, Jay and Sandy Sanko, Loyal, and Dennis Jr. and Charlotte Colby, Greenwood; his great-grandparents, Mary Ann Wehrman, Owen, and Dennis Colby Sr., Greenwood; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Norman Beltz; and his great-grandparents, Allan Wehrman and Naomi Colby.
