On Oct. 11, 1948 a Blue eyed girl, Kathleen Kluk, was born in Chicago, Ill. At the age of two she moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

In her years at THS, Kathy has been kept busy in GAA, Pep Club, band, freshman homecoming attendant, this year's Homecoming Queen, Junior paper staff, Junior and Senior Production staff majorette, and Thorpettes.

This year Kathy was selected as the GAA and band, and is captain of the Thorpettes. In her four years in band, Kathy has won many medals for solo and ensembles in state competition. She also attended a mass band festival at Luther College. She was in a style show in Eau Claire and won second place. Kathy also attended a play day at the University of La Crosse.

Her favorite past times are playing piano and saxophone, painting and sketching. (one favorite past-time that is missing is boys! What a way to pass the time!)

Kathy is planning to stay home this summer and then go to school in Milwaukee this fall.
