Funeral services for Mrs. Harry F. Moberg, 67, Abbotsford who died Wednesday morning, June 1, were held Saturday morning.  Mrs. Moberg was hospitalized for three weeks at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, prior to her death there.

A general rosary service was held Friday evening at 8 o’clock at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, where the body lay in state.  A mass of requiem was sung at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning by the Rev. Raymond B. Schulz after which interment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

The pallbearers were Clarence Dolan, Bob Goldamer, Clarence Kramer, Norman Lukas, James Lamount and Roland Roth.

Mrs. Moberg, the former Johanna Drapes, was born Sept. 15, 1898, in Stevens Point and received her education there.  On Oct. 15, 1917, she and Harry F. Moberg were united in marriage at Greenwood.

They lived in Greenwood and Marshfield and for the past 40 years made their home in Abbotsford.  Mr. Moberg, who was employed by the Soo Line, died in 1962.

Mrs. Moberg was an honorary member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Ladies’ Alter Society. 

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Irving (Bernadine) Jerabeck and Mrs. Robert (Carol) Marcott, West Allis; two sons, Clifford, New Berlin, and Lloyd, Schofield; a niece, Miss Patricia Drapes, Abbotsford; two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Frances) Sommerfeldt and Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Mancheski, Stevens Point; a brother, Roman Drapes, Stevens Point; 18 grand children, and three great grand children.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, Harry Jr., Robert and Donald, a sister and two brothers.

Relatives attending the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Irving Jerabek and Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marcott and family, West Allis, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Moberg and Clifford, New Berlin, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Moberg and family, Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Armstrong, Pewaukee, Mrs. Don Moberg and family, Marinette, Miss Dawn Moberg, Harrisburg, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mancheski and Bonnie, Mr. and Mrs. John Drapes Jr. and family, Roman Drapes, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mancheski and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mancheski, all of Stevens Point, Mr. and Mrs. Ellery Moberg and daughters, Emily Kolstad and Art Kolstad of Greenwood, Mrs. Charles Klapatauski, Withee, Mrs. Berty Hanus, Milwaukee, and friends from Abbotsford and surrounding communities.
