Troz, Daniel (10 MAR 1886 - 23 MAY 1966)

Daniel Troz, 80, passed away at his home at 3:10 a.m., Monday, May 23, 1966 of a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held at the Ukrainian Church, Thorp, on Thursday, May 26th, with Rev. Kist of Minneapolis officiating at the ten a.m. service. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: John Sawka, Louis Luzinski, Joe Kudingo, Tony Luzinski, Walter Tyznik and Mike Lew.

Mr. Troz, a retired farmer, was born March 10, 1886 in Austria, coming to the states March 6, 1910. He lived in New York from 1910 to 1912 and then moved to the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area, where he has since resided. He was married in New York to Katherine Figura.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Troz, one son, John Troz of rural Stanley, two daughters, Mrs. Ann Anderson of Anaheim, Calif. And Mrs. Mary Paulsen of St. Paul, Minn.
