Kot, Julius A. (17 DEC 1902 – 28 MAY 1966)
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Junction
Church, Stanley, for Julius A. Kot, 63, rt. 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), who died
at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on May 28, 1966. Burial was made in St.
Mary's Church Cemetery. Parish Rosary was held at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley.
Mr. Kot was born in Chicago Dec. 17, 1902. He came to the Junction area near
Stanley with his parents when only six months old. At the age of 19 he became a
cheesemaker. In 1931 he went to Chicago, was employed there. He married Edna
Ignasiak, Oct. 30, 1937 at St. Mary's Junction Church. After their marriage they
farmed for one year and then moved to Milwaukee where they lived until 1962.
They resumed farming in the Junction area at that time.
Survivors are his wife, Edna, Rt. 2; one sons, John, Rt. 2; five brothers,
Walter, Stanley, Peter, Milwaukee, Joseph, Frank and Stanley, Cicero, Ill.; two
sisters, Mrs. Victoria Kowalski, Sparta, and Mrs. Stella Maslanka of Stanley.
