Kathy Pribbernow, five-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pribbernow, route
1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), is confined to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield
after an accident at her home which destroyed the sight on an eye.
Kathy, who was playing with her four brothers and sisters in the hay barn at
their home, got in the way of the tongs of a pitch fork, with which the children
were playing. She was taken to the hospital and it was found that the sight of
the eye had been lost, but barring infection, the eye may not have to be
removed.
