Schunk, Clara E. (22 DEC 1893 – 20? JUN 1966)

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Schunk of 336 Lincoln St., Stanley, will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Stanley Methodist Church, with Rev. Roy Scott officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Schunk was born Dec. 22, 1893 in Billingham, Minn., the daughter of Frank and Mary Krueger. She moved to Stanley with her parents when a small girl, and they lived in the Town of Worde (Clark Co., Wis.), near Stanley.

Nov. 4, 1924 she was married to Daniel Schunk at Thorp. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Worden until 1942, when they retired and moved into the city of Stanley.

Surviving are one daughter, Marguerite Schunk, Chippewa Falls, and one sister, Mrs. Einar (Elizabeth) Soderberg, Stanley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel, in 1960; and two brothers, one of whom, Frank, died early Saturday morning.

Mrs. Schunk was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Stanley Methodist Church.
