Greenwood (14 September 1972)

Miss Beverly Bayuk of Milwaukee and Tom Brown of Delafield spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bayuk.

Mr and Mr. Archie Archenbold were to arrive Friday from Lynwood, Cal., to visit Mr. and Mrs. Don Cox, enroute to Canada.

Forty neighbors and relatives attended a get-together Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carteron. Those present were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rich Ermillo of River Grove, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Spangler and family of Watertown, Mrs. Esther Lyons of Whitewater, Mr. and Mrs. Viv Carteron, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bayuk, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Hinker, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux and family, Mrs. Leota Murphy and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Geisler. A 5 o’clock picnic supper was served.

A get-together of the Verhulst family was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Dugre of New Berlin; Miss Corrine Verhulst of Los Angeles, Cal., Mr. and Mrs. Celen Gotter and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst and family of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Resch of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Verhulst and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ziegler and family of Hales Corners spent the weekend with the Liebzeit families.

Everett Wessel returned to Milwaukee Tuesday after spending the week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wessel.

Mrs. Jake Speich and daughter, Violet accompanied Mrs. Gary Speich of Osseo to Eau Claire Friday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Speich.

Miss Barbara Liebzeit, who attends Oshkosh State University, spent the holiday weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Liebzeit.

Guests Sunday at the Godfrey Dyre home were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dunn of Eau Claire, Mrs. Richard Olson and children of Glenwood City and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie.

Mrs. Lydia Liebzeit arrived Friday from Appleton for a visit at the home of Mrs. Clara Liebzeit.

Mr and Mrs. Harold Shields and son, Dana returned to Lake Villa, Ill., Tuesday after spending since Satruday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Opdycke.

Mrs. Myrtle Brown and Mrs. Leida Kurtzheim, who visited last week with Mrs. Kurtzheim’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson, and relatives in Unity, returned to Milwaukee Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ellingson of La Crosse visited Saturday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hohl and Mrs. Louise Ellingson.

Visitors Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Erickson were their grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. William Monteufel and Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Erickson and son, Cory, all of Poynette.
