Vick, Dolly (11 Jan 1893- 24 Mar 1969)
Mrs. Dolly Vick, 75, of Marshfield died at 10:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital
of old age complications.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Loyal United Methodist Church and
burial will be made in the Loyal Cemetery.
The Rev. Conrad Mickelson and Rev. Wesley Defoe of Marshfield will officiate.
The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral Home beginning Thursday noon.
The former Dolly Mae Stewart was born January 11, 1893 at Loyal. May 21, 198 she
married Robert Wehling who dird in 1948. February 22, 1957 she married Edgar
Vick, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he died in 1964. She received her education at
Loyal and worked at various business places in Loyal. At the time of her death
she was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital by the hospital auxiliary. After her
marriage to Mr. Vick the couple moved to Milwaukee were they very active with
hospital volunteer work. She earned the $100 Certificate from the Veteran's
Hospital at Milwaukee.
She was a member of the Loyal United Church and of Iris Chapter #264 Order of
the Eastern Star at Loyal.
She is survived by 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Michael (Jean) Schaehtely, West Allis,
Mrs. Lawrence (Maridean) Hagens, Eau Claire; and Mrs. Virgil (Lornas) Holmes,
Reedsburg; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
