Seliskar, Daniel J. (22 JUL 1984 – 15 JUL 2014)
Daniel J. Seliskar, 29, Tomahawk, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Funeral
services were held on Monday, July 21, at Northwoods Vineyard Church in
Tomahawk. Rev. Nate Nelson officiated.
Daniel was born on July 22, 1984, in Neillsville, to Randy and Rochelle (nee
Waltemate) Seliskar. He attended Neillsville Public Schools, graduating in 2003.
He was married to Elicia VerKilen on Aug. 27, 2005, and together, they have four
beautiful children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and above all,
spending time with his family. Dan attended the Northwoods Vineyard Church and
worked at Packaging Corporation of America where he made wonderful friends.
Survivors include his wife, Elicia Seliskar; four children, Kaleigh (10), Trevor
(7), Ryder (3), and Maecy (1), all of Tomahawk; his father and stepmother, Randy
and Lori Seliskar, Neillsville; one brother, Chris Seliskar, Stevens Point; his
paternal grandmother, Evelyn Seliskar, Greenwood; his maternal grandmother, Joan
Waltemate, Neillsville; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Bethany
VerKilen, Granton; three sisters-in-law, Rachel, Olivia, and Emily; and many
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rochelle Seliskar.
A memorial fund has been set up at Tomahawk Community Bank for the family of Dan
Seliskar.
