Dahl, Herman (Car Stolen – 5 SEP 1916)
Tuesday afternoon Herman Dahl left his new 1916 Ford car near Seif and Stelloh’s
for a few minutes and when he returned about ten minutes later, it had
disappeared. Herman thought that some one of his friends had either borrowed it
for a minute or had run it off for a joke and supposed it would be returned
soon. But when it did not show up an hour later, he decided that it was no joke
and set Sheriff Handke on the trail. Up to the present time the car has not been
located nor has any trace of it been found and it is very possible that Mr. Dahl
will suffer the loss of his car.
