Moore, Larry M. (22 October 1944 - 27 June 2014)

Larry M. Moore, 69, of rural Merrillan (Hatfield) died at his home Friday, June 27, 2014, under the care of Black River Memorial Hospice. Larry was born in Cornell to Milo and Leona (Mohr) Moore on Oct.22, 1944. He was united in marriage to Karen Hulett Dec. 31, 1965, in Alma Center and later divorced. He was employed in the construction business and managed an asphalt company before getting involved in the logging business.

Larry is survived by his son, Jim (Brenda) Moore of Merrillan; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Jessica and Dustin Moore; two step-grandchildren, Cass and Megan Morgan. He is further survived by four brothers, Jim Moore of Oregon, Allen and David Moore, both of Cornell, and Jerald (Cindy) Moore of Alma Center; five sisters, Audrey (Ray) Hanneman of Minnesota, Patti (Bob) Olmstead of Minnesota, Iola Goldsmith of Pennsylvania, Cheryl Moore of Wyoming and Carol Moore of Black River Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey; one sister; and two brothers.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at Larry’s home, W9750 Evergreen Lane Merrillan. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Black River Falls.

Family will gather prior and after the services at Larry’s home.

Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield is assisting the family with the arrangements.
