The Senior Class of Thorp High School has been blessed with many different types
of talents; one student who is responsible for this variation is Dennis Lewan,
the class artist. Dennis plans to utilize his ability by majoring in industrial
drawing after high school. He hasn't yet decided which technical school to
attend, but favors one in Milwaukee. In preparation for his future, Dennis has
taken mechanical drawing under Mr. Hanley, and is doing very well, as his work
has been displayed several times. A glance at the economics bulletin board,
however, will show that all of Dennis' artwork is not serious.
This tall, dark senior has also been active in the FFA and band during his years
spent at THS. Besides his ever-present hobby of doodling, Dennis plays the
guitar and even has some hopes of turning professional in the music field
someday. A glance at his widening grin and infectious spirit and you know that
he will succeed in either area of his talents.
