Hendrickson, Alma (12 September 1900 - 19 September 1972)

Funeral services for a former Willard resident, Mrs. Arnold (Alma) Henrikson, 72, of Aurora, Ill., who died September 19, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, were held Friday, September 22, at 10:30 a.m. from the Dieterls Memorial Home in Aurora. The Rev. Robert Keller officiated and burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, in Montgomery, Ill.

Mrs. Henrikson, the daughter of Eron and Lizzie (Albrecht) Clair, was born September 12, 1900, in Mt. Morris, Ill., and came to Willard in 1907. After completing schooling in Willard, she returned to Mt. Morris for business training.

Mrs. Henrikson worked in the Willard postoffice for several years and was then employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company at Joliet, Ill. She spent 15 years at the Aurora Cash Market as bookkeeper and cashier. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Aurora and of its W.S.C.S., Mrs. Henrikson also was a member of the Tiger club auxiliary and of Stevens-Adamson auxiliary.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a brother, Arnold B. Clair, and a sister, Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Scharenbrock, both to Willard, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were: Art Lipke, Earl Dix, Jack Scharenbrock, Jerry Dix, Robert Zenik, and Clarence Hultberg.
