Joseph William Tobola, better known as Joe, has taken a wide variety of subjects
and has participated in many extracurricular activities during his four years at
Thorp High School. Listed as the most important class of his studies though, is
agriculture, Joe is now in his fourth year of Ag, and has been a valuable asset
to both the class and its counterpart, the FFA.
A very vigorous captain of one of the intramural basketball teams, Joe has been
the king of the Sadie Hawkins dance as a senior, and also serves as a Student
Council Representative. His interests and hobbies range from athletics, which he
participated in as a freshman and sophomore, to farm work. Basketball is his
favorite sport, and talking very quietly in economics class runs a close second.
This summer Joe intends to work at home on his father's farm. After graduation
he will attend college at River Falls to continue his education in agriculture.
Joe advises underclassmen, "Start early and do the best you can." That's Joe.
