Techmeier, Elsie (17 MAY 1881 – 12 MAR 1966)

Mrs. John Techmeier, 84, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died Saturday night. The former Elsie Jordan was born at thorp May 17, 1881.

She and her husband farmed near Stanley until their retirement in 1950. They moved to Owen two years ago. Mrs. Techmeier was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Christian Mother's Society.

Surviving, besides her husband, to who she was wed 55 years ago, are one son, Chris, Stanley; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Timlin, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Emma Platter, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Grant Randles, Camona Island, Wash., eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stanley, the Rev. Georges Mathieu officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
