Seliskar, Daniel J. (22 July 1984 - 15 July 2014)
Daniel J. Seliskar, 29, of Tomahawk passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014. He was
born July 22, 1984, Neillsville to Randy and the late Rochelle (Waltemate)
Seliskar.
Dan attended Neillsville Public School, graduating in 2003. He was married to
Elicia VerKilen Aug. 27, 2005, and together, have four beautiful children. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and above all, spending time with his
family. Dan attended the Northwoods Vineyard Church and worked at Packaging
Corporation of America where he made wonderful friends.
Survivors include his wife, Elicia Seliskar; four children, Kaleigh (10), Trevor
(7), Ryder (3) and Maecy (1), all of Tomahawk; his father and step-mother, Randy
and Lori Seliskar of Neillsville; one brother, Chris Seliskar of Stevens Point;
his paternal grandma, Evelyn Seliskar of Greenwood and his maternal grandma,
Joan Waltemate of Neillsville. Dan is further survived by his father and
mother-in-law, James and Bethany VerKilen of Granton; sisters-in-law, Rachel,
Olivia and Emily; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Dan were held Monday, July 21, 2014 at Northwoods Vineyard
Church in Tomahawk with Pastor Nate Nelson officiating. The family received
family and friends at Generations Funeral Home Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 4 p.m.
to 8 p.m. and again, Monday at Northwoods Vineyard Church prior to the service
from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
A memorial fund has been set up at Tomahawk Community Bank for the family of Dan
Seliskar.
Generations Funeral Home & Crematory of Tomahawk is in charge of arrangements.
