Panek, Rose (20 MAR 1919 – 24 MAR 1966)

Services for Mrs. George Panek, 46, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were held Monday in St. Hedwig's Catholic Chapel, with Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery (New St. Hedwig's).

Mrs. Panek died Thursday in St. Joseph's Hospital at Chippewa Falls.

The former Rose Krych, she was born in Thorp and lived in the community all of her life. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Andrew Krych, Thorp; four children, and brothers and sisters.

Mrs. George Panek, 46, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls, on Thursday, May 24th, 1966.

Rose Marie Krych was born March 20, 1919 at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. On Feb. 3, 1951 she was united in marriage to George Panek at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Thorp.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Monday, March 28th. Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. mass and burial was in St. Hedwig's Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Steve Krych, Thomas Krych, Daniel Sumiec, Ted Kryzanski, Raymond Sokolski, and Jim Srzenia.

She leaves to mourn, her husband George; father, Andrew Krych; two sons, David and Edward, at home; three daughters, Kathleen, Susan and Donna at home; five brothers, Steve, Joseph, Frank and Leonard, all of Chicago, Edmund of Minneapolis; six sisters, Theresa, Ann, Louis, Dolores, all of Chicago, Celia of Green Bay, and Katherine of Thorp.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were from: Chicago, Franklin Park, Norridge Park, River Grove, Posen, Lindenhurst, Des Plaines and Evergreen, Ill.; Green Pay, DePere, Stanley, Gilman and Withee, Wis.
