South Worden was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Norman Kubish, the former Mary Godke. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Catherine Godke and her family.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henderson and Billy and Debbie visited at the Jim Reppert home in Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brandt returned last Tuesday from a three week trip to the eastern states, where they visited the Art Brandt's at Glen Mills, Pa., and the Ed Brandt's at Marydel, Del. Then they spent two weeks with their daughter and her family, the Dennis Mock's at Fredericksburg, Va. They also visited George Washington's boyhood home at Fredericksburg and other place of historic interest in that area.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nitz are the proud grandparents of the fourth great-grandson, 6 lb., 5 oz., Larry Scott, born to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Peterson. Mrs. Peterson is the former Sharon LaMarche.

Mrs. June Phillippi of Urbana, Ill. Spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Sharon and Elaine Phillippi.

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Manier were Sunday dinner guests at the Wilfred Mohr home.

Mr. and Mrs. John Brandt and family of Thorp visited at the Bart Brandt home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Mrs. June Phillippi and Sharon and Elaine visited at the Wilfred Shilts home Saturday afternoon.
