Holm, Adolph (6 JAN 1883 – 24 MAR 1966)
Adolph Holm, 83, retired Taylor County, Wis. Farmer and township official, died
Thursday at 2 p.m. in Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley.
For the past six years he has resided in Stanley.
Born in Rushford, Minn. On Jan. 6, 1883, Mr. Holm Married Mary Thompson in Iowa
in 1917 and moved to the Town of Taft two years later.
Her served as clerk, school clerk, school board member, and justice of the peace
in Taft. Mr. Holm also held membership in St. John's Lutheran Church in Yellow
River.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Adolph Jr. , at home, and Arthur, Lakewood,
Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Allen Throngard and Mrs. Jerome Jeske, both of
Minneapolis; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanley, the
Rev. Carl Peters officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
