Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kaltinger and daughters, Mrs. Mary Kaltinger and Mr. and Mrs.
John Kaltinger went to Chicago, Ill., last weekend where they attended a family
reunion Sunday. They returned home Monday.
Mrs. Ludwig Jordan was in Loyal to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schmidt and
family.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr., visited last Sunday with the Frank Pekol, Jr.,
family.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hagen and Peggy of Neillsville were guests Friday afternoon
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr.
Sgt. William Backus and Kim of Fountain, Co., were here to visit Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Backus and family and other relatives. Leslie Backus who was in Fountain
returned home with them.
Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic, Sr., were guests one day last week of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Pekol, Sr.
William Govek of Milwaukee and Miss Carol Govek of Eau Claire spent the weekend
with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Govek.
Mr and Mrs. John Scharenbrock and Arnold Claire returned last Saturday from
Aurora, Ill., where they attended the funeral of their sister, Mrs. Alma
Hendrikson.
Mrs. Mary Lesar was a guest Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock.
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Plautz and Robert, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Plautz and family
of Greenwood spent last Sunday at Ellsworth. The occasion was the Robey family
group birthday party. The day was spent with games and visiting and a lunch.
Mrs. Jerome Stremikis and son were guests Sunday of John and Anne Champa.
Mr and Mrs. Vernon Dergance of Broadview, Ill., are vacationing at their summer
cottage.
