to Madison, where she worked for the state for 1 ½ years. On Sept. 4, 1965 she

working for Dairy Concepts. She worked there for 10 years. In 2003, she started
an in-home daycare which she continued until recently. Betty was a member of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood and also a member of Country Bumpkins
Homemaker’s Club. She loved to bake, make wood crafts with Ray and garden, which
included volunteering at Tender Shoots Greenhouse. She also loved to go fishing
and relax on the pontoon. Most of all, she loved her family, spending time with
her grandchildren and attending their sporting activities.
