Beach, Ruth (22 April 1909 - 10 October 1972)

Memorial services for Mrs. Rex (Ruth) Beach, 63, of Stillwater, Mn, who died October 10 at 10 a.m. in Lakeview Hospital there, will be held this (Thursday) evening at 7 p.m. at Ascension Episcopal Church in Stillwater. Mrs. Beach was the former Ruth Warren of Neillsville.

Mrs. Beach, the daughter of Otto Warren of Neillsville and the late Mrs. Warren, was born April 22, 1909, at Trevor and came to the Neillsville area with her parents as a young child. She grew up here, was educated in Neillsville schools, and also graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Her marriage to Rex Beach took place in 1940, in Yuma, Az., and the couple moved to Stillwater the following year. Mrs. Beach had recently returned from a trip to Australia where she visited a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Valentine.

Survivors, in addition to her father and her husband, include three children, Mrs. Valentine, Mrs. Joseph Boyd of White Bear Lake, Mn, and John Beach of Minneapolis, Mn; a brother Neil Warren of Lynnwood, Wa. and a grandson, Eric Boyd.

Mrs. Beach’s body has been willed to the University of Minnesota for research.
