Delbert Miller, son of Geo. Miller, northwest of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), is
in St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he is recovering from a gunshot
wound.
Last Sunday Delbert, in company with Arthur Meier and several other boys, had
gone into the woods to hunt squirrels. They had wounded a squirrel and the Meier
boy took another shot at the animal, but the bullet went astray and struck
Delbert in the right breast, going through the lung.
He was rushed to the hospital at Marshfield, where he was operated on and the
bullet removed from the back. At present he is getting along nicely and if no
complications develop, his recovery seems certain.
