Moberg, Mr. and Mrs. Elery (Fortieth - 1972)

The 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Elery Moberg was celebrated Saturday evening, September 30, at the Legion Hall in Greenwood.

Elery Moberg and Ruth Redmond were married September 26, 1932 in Neillsville. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Johnson of Greenwood. They have operated farms in Clark County and have lived on their present farm for 14 years. They retired from farming five years ago.

The event was planned by their four daughters, Mrs. Charles, (Marjorie) Klapatauskas of Withee, Mrs. James (Sharon) Horswill of Wisconsin Rapids and twins, Mrs. James (Lois) Becker of Rt. 1 Greenwood and Mrs. Arnold (Avis) Becker of Loyal. There are 11 grandchildren.

Relatives attended from Milwaukee and West Allis and friends came from Neillsville, Granton, Willard, Loyal, Greenwood and Escanaba, Mich.
