Schultz, Louisa Henrietta (22 February 1887 - 18 October 1972)

A lifelong resident of the Town of Pine Valley, Mrs. Louisa Henrietta Schultz, 85, of Rt. 2, Neillsville, died here October 18. Services for Mrs. Schultz were held Saturday, October 21, at 1:30 p.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiating. Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Georgas Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schultz, the daughter of August and Albertina (Wagner) Klann, was born February 22, 1887, in the Town of Pine Valley and received her education there. Her marriage to Charles Schultz took place October 17, 1906, in Neillsville. He died September 1, 1956. Mrs. Schultz was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and of its Ladies Aid society.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. August (Meta) Nemitz of Rt. 2 Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Alfredia Haynes of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; two brothers, Herman Klann of Zephyr Hills, Fla., and August Klann of Rt. 2 Neillsville; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Martin, Herbert and Walter Wagner, Frederick and Otto Dux and Raymond Wetzel. “The Lord Is My Shepherd” and “I Fall Asleep in Jesus’ Wounds” were sung by Mrs. Harold Mayer accompanied by Victor Lehmann.

Those from out of town who attended the services were Mrs. Ruth Andrews of St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nemitz and Jim of New Auburn, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Seif and family of Wisconsin Rapids, Arthur Schaefer of Marshfield, Shirley Sloniker of Medford, Mrs. Clarence DeCremer of Sun Prairie, Mrs. Harold Holman of Humbird, Mr. and Mrs. William Radatz of Alma Center, Mrs. Mary Radditz of Mauston, Alvin Luchterhand of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schield, Maryella and Donald Schield of Wooddale, Ill.
