Miss Nina Castner came home from Stevens Point the last of the week, ill from inflammation caused from a smallpox vaccination, and is being cared for at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Castner.

Mrs. Walter Swieso and little son Wilbert spent Tuesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. James Colby, at Loyal.

A large crowd attended the C.W.A. meeting held at the town hall at Loyal Thursday evening.

James White sawed wood for Art Baeschlin Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Herb White called on Mrs. James Colby and Mrs. Alice Poulton Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hawley and son Wilbur spent Wednesday at the Henry Knoll home at Heathville.

Mr. and Mrs. Max Langfeldt of East Beaver spent Thursday with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rueth.

Mrs. Warner Gempeler spent Monday p.m. at the C.B. Esselman home, while Mr. Gempeler attended a cheesemakers meeting at the Loyal Concdensary.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso and little son Wilber and Wilbur Hawley spent Sunday afternoon at the Herb White home.

Miss Hazel Castner, who teaches near Thorp, is spending some time with home folks while the CSW is painting the interior of the schoolhouse.

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hawley attended the funeral of Hale Hannah at Neillsville Sunday.

Misses Evely and Lucille Swieso of Loyal spent from Friday until Sunday at the home of their uncle Walter Swieso.

A meeting was held at the C.B. Esselman home Sunday evening fro the members of the Altar Society of St. Anthony's Church of loyal.
