Mr. and Mrs. Julius Bestul of Rosholt, Wis., and Mrs. Peter Bestul and two sons
of Iola, Wis., spent Tuesday and Wednesday at the Otto Voie home.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Durst and family spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Mary
Karnitz, and Mrs. Karnitz returned to Hemlock with them to spend a few days at
the Durst home.
The young folks of the community gave Nina Markee a very pleasant surprise party
Saturday evening in honor of her birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cronin spent Sunday afternoon at the John Longridge home.
Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Irvine spent Sunday at the Wm. Bartelt home on the West Side.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Marvin and little son called at the Tomac – Gregorich home
Saturday evening.
Mrs. Adolph Jackson and Lucille Behrens called on Mrs. Walter Acker Friday
afternoon.
George and Lila Finkle called at the Kind home Sunday afternoon.
Emory Voie, Delbert Busch and Clarence Markee spent Thursday night with Ernest
Bessie.
Ethel Krokson and Dorothy Markee called at the Hemmersbach home Sunday
afternoon.
Lila Dunn, Edith and Elizabeth Einfeldt spent Sunday afternoon at the Perman
home.
Iris and Lyle Johnson, who are visiting at the Kind home, visited school on
Monday.
Elaine, Robert and Marjorie Jackson stayed at the Alex Behrens home Saturday
night. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Jackson spent Sunday there, and the children returned
to their home with them then.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie and family spent Sunday afternoon at the Abe Thorson home
in Longwood.
Mrs. Evelyn Decker and Donnie spent from Tuesday to Friday at the Henry Kepke
home.
