On a tour of the western states for 2 weeks are Mr. and Mrs. John Steven
Schultz, who were married Saturday, June `4, at 2:30 p.m.at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Spencer. Rev. Ronald Goetsch, performed the ceremony with Mrs. Arnold
Brusewitz as organist and Mrs. Donald Hansen sang "Wedding Prayer" and "Wither
Thou Goest."
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cook, route 1, Spencer and Mr.
and Mrs. Arnold Schultz, 917 S. 11th Ave., Wausau.
Miss Patricia Joy Cook, Wausau, given in marriage by her father choose a floor
length empire gown of white silk organza with wateau neckline, Venice lace
trimmed the bodice, the elbow length sleeves, and front of the A-line skirt and
was completed by a chapel train which was attached at the waistline. Her
bouffant veil was secured to a forward silk organza petal cluster with pearl and
crystal trim. A cascade arrangement of white pom poms surrounded by white
stephanotis complimented her gown.
Miss Trudy Langfeldt, Racine, was the maid of honor, Miss Ellen Cook, Spencer.
and Mrs. John Meurett, Wausau were the bridesmaids.
The attendants were seen in pink floor length empire gowns of chiffon over
taffeta with A-line skirts and watteau effect backs. Their headpieces were
floral clusters with pouf veils. Each carried a pink pom pom with pink streamer
ribbons.
David Isberner, Milwaukee, was asked to be best man. James Miller, Wausau and
John Meurett, Wausau were the groomsmen.
Ushering the guests were Roger Cook and Donald Isberner.
Wedding day events included a dinner at St. John's Lutheran Church, and a
reception at the Spencer Municipal Hall.
The bride is a 1966 graduate of Spencer high school and is employed by Employers
Mutual, Wausau.
The groom ia a 1966 graduate of Wausau East High School and graduated June 6,
1969 from Oshkosh Technical Institute with an associate degree in construction.
The couple will reside at 818 1/2 North 4th Ave, Wausau.
