Willard (26 October 1972)
The Willard Social club held its monthly meeting last Monday night at the home
of Mrs. Wayne Reuter. Mrs. Joseph Bayuk, president, conducted the meeting.
An open discussion was held on mental health. A $10 donation was given toward
re-opening the Willard School for the purpose of teaching handicraft for the
handicapped. Mrs. William Bayuk made the suggestion.
About 12 members were present. Mrs. Dan Reuter of Marengo, Ill., was a guest.
The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Frank Koschak on November 13.
Mrs. Theresa Parkel fractured her left arm above the elbow in a fall at her
home. She is 92 years old and is a patient at the Marshfield hospital.
Guests from away who came for the wedding of Marilyn Jackson and Jerold Auman
were: Mr. and Mrs. John Vanish and Gertrude Vanish, Catawba; Hazel Poole,
Marion; Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Jackson and son, Evaline and Gary Jackson and Betty
Jackson, all of Waukesha; Mr. and Mrs. (article cut off).
