Rhyner, Debra Mary (Marriage - 14 October 1972)
St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, was the setting Saturday afternoon,
October 14, for the marriage of Miss Debra Mary Rhyner and Anthony F. Stuttgen.
The Rev. Gerald Schuh officiated at the double-ring ceremony performed before
150 guests.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rhyner
of Rt. 1 Dorchester. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Stuttgen of Rt. 2 Colby are the groom’s
parents.
A bouquet of white roses, baby’s breath, stephanotis and ivy complimented the
bride’s candlelight satin gown framed by a full-length veil.
Matron of honor Mrs. Gail Damm of Stetsonville wore a deep purple empress gown
of double knit. Bridesmaids Mrs. Chris Mantor of Lake Delton, Mrs. Linda Ramker
of Wausau and Miss Laurie Rhyner, all sisters of the bride, were attired in
similar light purple gowns. They carried baskets of assorted mums.
Charles Stuttgen served as best man. Groomsmen were Jim, Melvin and john
Stuttgen. Bill Stuttgen and Mike Ramker seated guests.
A reception was held at the Dorchester Memorial Hall.
The new Mrs. Stuttgen graduated from Colby High School in 1969 and also attended
Northland College and North Central Technical Institute. She is employed as a
secretary. Her husband is a 1965 graduate of Colby High School, is a partner in
a service station and small engine repair shop.
The newlyweds are living in Dorchester after returning from a wedding trip to
Michigan.
