Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Haas and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Haas and family were
entertained at dinner at the Chas. Haas home on Sunday.
Mrs. Jess Capes attended the Garden Club Thursday held at the home of Mrs. Van
Auken at Withee.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boe and son Milton, Mr. and Mrs. Vamstad and daughter Ruth,
and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Swenson and daughter Phyllis, were entertained at dinner
Sunday at the Calvin Franz home.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Elton and daughter Helen visited Art Flikke's Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Justin Stapel and family of Atwood were
guests at the Paul Stapel home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller and family spent Sunday at the Farwell home at Stanley.
Kenneth Boylan of Marshfield visited his mother Sunday.
Wm. And Aug. Franz and Edgar Wendt visited at Calvin Franz's Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Jess Capes and daughters Lila and Marjorie, called at Boyer's
Sunday afternoon.
Fern Bowen visited Francis Andruskiewicz Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale R. Spry were 6:30 dinner guests Saturday evening at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. G. Murphy of Withee.
Marie and Edna Miller spent Saturday evening with Laura Miller.
Mr. and Mrs. Orville Rodley's visited at Orin Miller's Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Buker, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Haigh and children called at
Calvin Franz's Sunday.
Mrs. Orin Miller, Mrs. Rasmussen and Hattie Miller were dinner guests at the
Vaitomis home Monday.
Mrs. W.A. Zelm and son Ervin, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Zelm visited at Calvin Franz's
Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Franz called at Fred Scherf's Thursday evening.
Mrs. Justin Stapel and children of Atwood visited Saturday afternoon at Ed
Miller's.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scherf and daughter Charlotte were entertained at dinner at
the Geo. Poppe home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. D.R. Spry enjoyed a delightful supper and social evening Wednesday
at the home Mr. and Mrs. John Wendt and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Awe and son Merlin visited Sunday at C.M. Anderson's.
A number of children surprised Thelma Thorson Sunday, the occasion being her
birthday.
