Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Reeves, Milwaukee, spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Harold Reeves. They were accompanied by her father, William Theisen and
sister-in-law, Mrs. Gene Theisen, Wausau, and her brother Sgt. Gene Theisen,
just home from Europe, where he had been seriously wounded in action.
Mrs. Irene Zahorka and Miss Alvida Watkins returned to Waukegan, Ill., after
spending a few weeks here with Miss Zahorka’s sister, Mrs. H. W. Wepfer and her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Zahorka, at Colby. Mr. and Mrs. Zahorka took them as
far as Oshkosh on Monday.
Mrs. Ray Hirsch, Wausau, who spent the weekend here, returned home Monday
morning accompanied by her two children, who had been here the past week. Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Weiderman took them back. Mrs. Alex Witt also went with them.
