Boushon, Carol (1936 – 10 AUG 2014)
Carol Boushon, age 78, a resident of Spooner, died on Sunday, August 10, 2014,
at the Rice Lake Convalescent Center.
Carol was born in 1936, in Granton, Wisconsin to parents Merton and Hilda Holt.
She attended Roder Grade School and graduated from Neillsville High School.
Following graduation, she worked for the Clark County Soil Conversation Service
at Neillsville. Following her marriage to Ronald Boushon, they farmed for
several years at Chili, Wisconsin. After their retirement from Weyerhaeuser
Corp, they bought a lake home at Spooner, Wisconsin and did volunteer work until
her death. Carol enjoyed gardening, needle work, reading, working at the local
food pantry, and was a member of the Lion's Club.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ronald of Spooner; brothers, Harold (Joan)
Holt of Sheboygan, WI; Robert (Patricia) Holt of Spooner, WI; sister, Joyce
(Jonas) Schommer of Racine, WI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gerald Holt, and nephew,
Daniel Holt.
Funeral services for Carol Boushon will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014,
at 2 p.m., at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Anderson
officiating. Visitation will be at the Church on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m.
Interment will follow at the Spooner Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Frank
Gray, Mike Saunders, Joe Banach, Mark Schultz, Chuck Adams, and John Meacham.
