John Champa assisted John Horvat at Willard Tuesday and Wednesday in putting up
a cement foundation for his barn.
Most of the farmers are busy refilling and filling their temporary silos these
days, but on account of the rainy weather it is rather difficult to go in the
fields with a team.
Frank Morgal had a husking bee Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Louis Horvat called at the F. Champa home Thursday afternoon.
The Corn Hog contract inspector was through here several days last week.
Walter Bertoldt called on John Marincic of Willard Sunday evening.
Walter Wood was distributing grapes and other fruit the past week in this
vicinity.
Anton Sapiega was taking the Agricultural census through here for several days.
Happy John Routar of Willard did some mason work for August Stremikis Saturday.
F. Lesar is having his home painted these days.
Anna Lunka was a caller on Hedvika Janezich one day last week.
John Tolaney has been working for Arthur Manthy during the silo filling period.
John McConnell, who is staying in Coon Valley in the C.C.C. camp near La Crosse,
spent the weekend with his folks here.
Miss Angela Tolaney left for Chicago Tuesday.
