Funeral services for Mrs. Verna Salter, 73, Medford, a former Colby resident who died October 5, were held October 8, at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.  The Rev. David Pankow officiated and burial was in the Colby Memorial cemetery.

Mrs. Salter was born the former Verna Lynch at Neillsville August 24, 1892, and was married to Richard Salter, who preceded her in death.  She had lived in Colby most of her life, except for the past seven years, when she resided at the Medford Convalescent Home.

There are no known close relatives surviving.
