Julene Radlinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Radlinger, Dorchester, will
tour Europe as a first soprano member of the Wisconsin state university European
tour choir from Eau Claire.
A rehearsal was held prior to the tour from July 29 until time of departure from
Eau Claire August 4.
The choir will present several concerts and visit many countries, including
France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy and England. Visits to several
cities will be made in each. The choir will return Aug. 25.
Julene is a 1966 graduate of Colby high school and this spring received a first
in class A at the state music solo ensemble contest at Eau Claire. She was also
a select member of the Cloverbelt conference mass choir, and has sung with
several other choirs, one being the Dor-Abby high school New York world’s fair
choir.
