Hubbard, Leslie E. (15 April 1878 - 15 November 1972)
Private family services will be held Friday afternoon at the Milton Lawns
Memorial Chapel in Janesville for Leslie E. Hubbard, 94, of Rt. 3 Neillsville,
who died Wednesday morning at Mercy Hospital in Janesville following an illness
of two weeks. There will be no visitation. The Overton Funeral Home in
Janesville is in charge of arrangements.
Leslie Hubbard, the son of Edward and Julia (Evans) Hubbard, was born April 15,
1878, in Neillsville. His marriage to the former Amelia Ketel, who died June 13,
1985, took place in Wausau in 1905. He was married to the former Martha parker
in Janesville in 1936. She died in 1956.
During his lifetime, Mr. Hubbard was a plant manager for several Bowman dairies.
His period of employment was from 1912 until 1946, when he retired and returned
to live in the Neillsville area. He was a member of the Christian Science Church
and of the Neillsville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert Johnson of Plymouth and Mrs. Donald
Kerr of Milton, and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
