Mrs. George Walter and little daughter came home from Marshfield hospital
Friday.
Mrs. Wm. Desmond left Saturday morning for her new home in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Wehrman and baby spent Sunday at the Fred Wehrman home.
Mrs. Aug. Stabnow visited at the Emil Luther home Friday.
Miss Beatrice Elmer is helping Mrs. John Kelty these days.
A large crowd gathered at the Geo. Kline home Sunday for a goose shoot.
Word reached here of the wedding of Rev. Arnold Borchardt in Iowa. He and his
bride expect to be at Spokeville Friday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Vaner Lindgren drove down from Owen Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Stabnow
accompanied them to the Vern Severson home, where they were supper guests.
Harris Jolivette and family and the Walter Acker family spent Saturday at Owen
and Withee.
Joe Walter called at Stabnow's Monday morning.
Emil Haupt is having timbers and lumber sawed at the Ervin Elmer mill for a new
house to be built across from the place where Harris Jolivette lives. The new
place will be built for Mr. and Mrs. John Kelty.
The Emil Luther family spent Saturday evening in Marshfield where they attended
the show.
Joyce Johnson, who is attending High School at Greenwood, spent the weekend with
home folks.
Mrs. Dave Danielson is caring for her little granddaughter while her parents and
Uncle Arndt are attending the World's Fair.
Harold Cornwall leaves this week for Lake Mills to visit his mother.
Lawrence Walter returned home from Sheboygan Friday.
