Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walter and daughter Virginia were Tuesday evening visitors at
the Geo. Reinhardt home.
Merlin Lindner, the Raleigh dealer, was through this vicinity Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schuette and the latter's mother, Mrs. Mae Severson, called
to see Mrs. Geo. Walter and baby at the R. Walter home on Friday.
Mrs. W. Acker entertained the neighbors at a card party at her home Friday
night. The following won prizes: Mrs. P. Acker and Henry Schnoor – first; Mrs.
G. Klein and Paul Acker – second; Mrs. J. Walter and Richard Walter – booby.
Mike Hafenbraedl and Peter Kozik called on the latter's brother George on
Sunday.
The Barrett family of Neillsville spent Sunday at the Verland Barrett home.
Bernard Gruenke, Bernard Smith and Fred Zillman of the C.C.C. camp near Melrose
spent Saturday and Sunday at the Richard and Joe Walter homes.
Beatrice Elmer is employed at the Emil Haupt home.
